Dear Minister Kerry Vincent,
We are writing to you regarding the conduct of the Hobart Lord Major with regard to the Ombudsman publishing a report showing that the Hobart City Council, including Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds, has breached the Personal Information Protection Act on FOUR occasions. We also want to raise our concerns over whether The Lord Mayor has lied in a Statutory Declaration.
We recently received a response from the Attorney General regarding our concerns about the Statuotory Declaration and he is currently considering the matters we raised with him
We are requesting the Government to establish a Parliamentary Inquiry into Anna Reynolds conduct and suitability to uphold the public trust expected of the Office of Lord Mayor. And further, that Anna Reynolds must be stood down pending the outcome of this investigation.
We are attaching the correspondence we have with the Attorney General Guy Barnett and the files with the statutory Declaration and RTIs for your information.
We look forward to your response about these very important matters.
Kind Regrds,
Isla MacGregor
