I am a woman and mother from Burnie, Tasmania.
The Australian Labor Party has forsaken women’s and girls’ sex-based rights in favour of promoting and protecting a gender ideology that is actively damaging and harmful, not only to women and girls, but to children as a whole.
The deliberate erasure of single-sex protections, particularly in female sports, prisons, shelters, and changerooms, is not progress.
It is regression based on outdated stereotypes and gender constructs.
These rights existed to protect women and girls from male violence, male voyeurism, and male entitlement.
Pushing an ideology that redefines males as “women” on the basis of feelings does not change their biological sex, and it does not remove the risks these men pose to vulnerable women and children.
The blatant refusal to protect women based on biological reality is not inclusive, it is sexist and cowardly.
I am terribly concerned about the indoctrination of Australia’s children in our schools, where gender ideology is being touted as fact.
Feelings do not erase biology.
Children are being told they must not question others’ identities.
Children are being manipulated to believe they have been “born in the wrong body,” a psychologically damaging and reductive concept that is solely experimental.
This type of indoctrination introduces unnecessary confusion and psychological damage. It brainwashes minors who cannot consent to the irreversible medical intervention this ideology endorses.
I will not support any party or platform that refuses to define what a woman is.
I will not vote for any party that endorses gender ideology and identity over women’s rights and biological reality, or that directly promotes the ideological capture of children in their classrooms.
I call upon the Australian Labor Party to reinstate the sex-based rights of women and girls, including any and all single-sex spaces and services.
Stop the promotion of gender ideology in schools and in broader society where children are forced to comply.
Start standing up for women who have been deplatformed or silenced for defending sex-based reality.
I will continue to speak up on this matter until these issues are addressed and rectified.
